Atrea was established in 1990 as a private company of Ing. Petr Morávek, CSc.,
prefering longtime experiences in the area of building indoor air quality (IAQ) and heat recovery. The founder of Atrea is an author of many authorizations, patents, industrial designs in the field. Gradually a product range has been continually formed with the essential idea of recovering heat. With increasing heating costs, focusing on the said applications proved being the right approach, and demand for products based on longtime experience is increasing.
In 1996, the company transformed to a corporation - ATREA s.r.o. At the turn of 1996 and 1997 the company moved to its own, newly renovated facility. In 1999, this place was expanded by adding another renovated building with over 4000 square meters of manufacturing area.
Representative offices abroad have been established since 1996. Certification according to European standards is under way in cooperation with TÜV Berlin, and position of ATREA products on demanding West European markets strengthens.
